You always dreamed of climbing the Mont-Blanc, the highest mountain in western Europe (4810m) ? Every single year, mountaineers from all over the world strives to stand on the top of this majestic summit.
The Mont-Blanc ascent is a relatively technical and physically very demanding climb that should not be underestimated. You will have to move over uneven terrain with some steep sections. Indeed, a specific preparation and training is needed. We developed a 5 days course dedicated to the Mont Blanc summit attempt which allows for more flexibility should bad weather intervene and to maximise you chances of reaching the top of the summit.
During this time, you will be taught glacier progression techniques and will have plenty of opportunity to practice your crampon and ice axe skills in preparation for a safe and successful ascent. As part of the course, you will acclimatize day after day to the high altitude environment.
At night, you will stay in alpine huts. A truly authentic experience to hare with friends and family.

Day 1 We will meet in Chamonix in the morning at the Charamillon-Balme lift. After a kit check, you will go for a 2h30 hike of about 500 m height and will step on the Glacier du Tour to gain up to the hut (2702m ). After dropping our gear and equipment, we will start your cramping and axe training on the glacier. Night at the Albert 1er hut
Day 2 We will leave the hut early in the morning to reach the top of the Aiguille du Tour summit (3529 m). We will keep a steady pace and build in ice axe and crampon training along the way through the glacier du Tour. We will continue our progression through the Trient plateau to reach a very high ridge to get familiarized with verticality. On the way down, we'll stop by the hut for a hot meal then stay in chamonix to relax for the rest of the day. Evening meal and night in Chamonix Valley.
Day 3
We'll take first the Lognan lift to reach the Grands Montets summit (3295m). Enjoy the stunning View on Mont Blanc chain at the top. Next is another axe and crampon skills training on the Grands Montets glacier to ensure that you've learned the techniques properly. As we keep on hiking, your body will also keep on acclimatizing.
After a lunch break, we'll walk through the Rognons glacier until we reach Lognan's cross to the lift.
After a 3 Day course, you will have gained a minimum set of technical skills allowing you to pursue your objective of climbing the Mont-Blanc.
Evening meal and night int he valley.
Day 4 Today is all about getting into position for the Mont Blanc's ascent with the minimum energy expenditure. We will take the rack and pinion railway to the Nid d'Aigle at 2372m. Next, we'll go for a steady trek of about 6 hours (+1563m) to the brand new Goûter hut (3835m). The major difficulty of the day will be the cross of the Grand Couloir of the Aiguille du Gouter and it's serious rockfall hazards... As we'll keep on going up, you will notice the landscape around you gradually transforms from green valley to rocks, snow and ice. Once at the Goûter hut, we'll make one last check of the weather then decide the teams for tomorrow. Early dinner and night at the Goûter hut.
Day 5 This is the Big Day ! After an early breakfast, we'll leave the Goûter hut around 4am for a long slow plod ascent on a glaciated terrain without any steep ground to encounter. Once we walk past the Vallot shelter (emergency hut), we climb along the Bosses ridge, two exposed ridges that will require huge concentration. After a 6 hours ascent, we'll finally reach the summit of the Mont-Blanc. After a few minutes enjoying the view, we'll go back down on the same route.
